Remember summers at the beach…

The salt in the air and roar of the ocean on the breeze?

And the hotdog cart on the boardwalk…

steam and smoke wafting on the wind.

The warm, soft bun and the chili, onions, and slaw?

That’s what I’m bringing back to Eastern NC, with a bit of Pirate mentality.

I’ve always been a bit of a buccaneer, even when I was a kid.

I remember reading books about pirates, especially ole Captain Edward Teach: Blackbeard himself. I was enthralled with the stories, even if half of them turned out to be fictional.

And Eastern NC is Pirate Country!

I’m not interested in being ‘just another hotdog cart.'

I abhor the norm!

I'm sailing into port with fun and flavor, and serve the best sausage I can find. If I can find that locally, awesome! If not, I’ll ship it in!

I have no desire to please everyone, because that’s impossible. But if you believe life is too short for mediocre sausage, then Cpt. Teach’s is for you!
